Joined as JavaScript Engineer, learnt Frontend stack React JS and it's ecosystem. I have built a few in house applications for the organization to manage accounts and profit using newly learned tech stack - React JS and Redux.
Key contributions:

• Joined the client account Lowe's as Node.js developer.
  • Rewrote the Node js API service following best practices for the POS application.
  • Implemented logging and health check endpoint for the system.
  • Took the lead in developing POC for Store's device communication using Node js sockets.
• Working with Client Walmart as a UI Engineer,
  • Worked in Frontend team for UK based eCommerce platform ASDA Groceries, implemented new features, fixed existing bugs and accessibility issues on the website.
  • Joined in new team for building Analytics Dashboards for Suppliers, created charts and graphs using amCharts. Improved site performance using optimization techniques.
  • Working on report building application, optimized existing table views with AgGrid table implementation.
• Responsible for interviewing Frontend developers at L1 & L2 levels as per the requirements
• Providing mentorship to junior developers, code reviewing and helping to implement best practices in coding.

Worked as a Backend engineer in Node.js and handled multiple projects with tech stacks Node.js, Postgres.

Joined as a Backend developer in PHP, got an opportunity to work on Node.js as well. Along with this I am exposed to other latest technologies such as MongoDB, Redis in database etc.

As a developer we migrated major components of the existing eCommerce platform (PsPrint) to new tech stack to improve the website performance and cutting the running costs.

Key contributions:

• Created a bunch of models and Rest APIs in Node.js powered by Loopback, MongoDB and Redis.
• Identified the bottlenecks in existing search API and refactored those modules while migration.
• Helped the team implementing new features and fixing bug on the UI using knockout JS and JQuery hence improving the User experience.
• Comet - I have migrated this existing store front system into Node.js, implemented JWT authentication for each services.

I started my career working as a Web developer building a few eCommerce web applications using technologies like PHP, JavaScript, and JQuery. I helped the dev team implementing new features and fixing bugs on existing websites, eventually I got the opportunity to develop some new client's projects and handle the regular updates on it.
